Avni is a member of the investment team at Epiq and comes with 7+ years of work experience across venture investing, consulting and banking.

Most recently, Avni was at Chiratae Ventures where she focused on FinTech, AgriTech and DeepTech. She sourced and led new investments in S4S Technologies (Food Processing Platform play) and Cavli Wireless (IoTization space). She also worked on new investments in Metadome (Augmented Reality space), MinusZero (Autonomous Vehicles space) and Huviair (Construction Tech space) and existing portfolio companies such as Agrostar, Vayana and Ergos as part of the deal team.

Prior to Chiratae, Avni was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where she primarily focused on the BFSI space and served multiple clients across banking, wealth management and insurance. She has led multiple engagements across a wide range of topics including due diligence, business strategy, new product launches and operations. She also served multiple clients in the consumer and tech space, helping them on their digital transformation journey.

Prior to McKinsey & Company, Avni worked at Goldman Sachs in their markets and program trading division.

Avni has done her MBA (PGP) from IIM Ahmedabad and graduated top of her batch in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi.
